All veterinary professions meet at the AFVAC congress. This annual event has become the rendezvous for the entire veterinary profession, where the professional bodies meet. The National Conference of Veterinarians Specialised in Small Animals (CNVSPA) was launched in 1958. The first association of specialised veterinarians quickly realised that they needed to meet once a year for a national event. The Congress is a scientific event that brings together all generalist, specialist and liberal veterinarians. Over the years, it has become the leading scientific event for pet veterinarians. The event has welcomed more than 2600 veterinarians.
The Scientific Congress has designed a programme that addresses the current concerns of veterinarians. This programme is available as a main and optional programme. It features a wide range of speakers. It is designed around a major theme and includes workshops, tutorials, hands-on activities and much more.
Alongside AFVAC the Congress, the Breeders-Veterinarians Meetings are the privileged place for exchanges between dog and cat professionals, as well as for specific technical training of all those interested in breeding management and pathology.
Numerous exhibitors, pharmaceutical laboratories, food companies, material manufacturers and various services are present to meet the needs of veterinarians within a commercial exhibition.
